PVC is without a doubt the most versitle material to develop, test and deploy single use rocket motors. Its quick development lifecycle thru rapid prototyping allows for iteratative development that at a cost per cycle unheard of in the amature rocketry field. PVC is easy to use, inexpensive and there is very low risk of catastrophic failures involving shrapnel (unlike metal construction). |
